Sorry for the delay in getting this month's update out the door - we were out of town at the beginning of July, enjoying a week of vacation in Vietnam. We spent our time in the town of Hoi An, which is on the central coast, and had been recommended to us by friends. It's known for its traditional architecture, custom tailoring shops, and strong Chinese cultural community. It's also become somewhat of a tourist magnet lately, and though we were there in the low season, there were still plenty of Aussies, Germans, and others to be found. The place we stayed in was the Dong An Beach Hotel, a couple miles outside the town proper and pretty much right on the beach. It was great to have the option of spending time on the beach or going into to town to enjoy the good food and cultural attractions it held. Crystal was able to do a cooking class one morning, and we all enjoyed shopping for lanterns, clothes, and other goodies.

Here are some pictures from the trip for your enjoyment.
