Departure is finally here! The day we've been waiting a year for comes next week - we leave DC this weekend for NYC, where we spend a couple days before flying off to Dhaka. We'll be moving into a big furnished house where the fridge has already been stocked by our friendly sponsors from the Embassy. Thanks - you know who you are! Packing out of our rented house in Alexandria was crazy - we were up until midnight the night before, trying to get all our stuff separated into the proper piles for air freight, surface freight, and bringing with us on the plane. And just think, we get to do this every few years! Once we get settled in and get an internet connection up and running again, we'll keep this website updated with more information from our new lives overseas - we hope it won't be too long.
