.Are you getting sick of us saying that it has been a busy month yet? September was full of activities for all. The kids were busy with school, Adham remained engaged and interested in work at the Embassy, and Crystal started up her relocation consultant work as well as her art again.

This picture will give you an idea of what "the rainy season" means here in Dhaka. We took one trip downtown this month, and had the water almost coming in the doors - scary, considering what's swimming around in that water!

Atlas finally had his very first day of preschool, and though he had a bit of a rough start, he is now enjoying it a great deal,

and bringing home beautiful art every day. He's stringing together sentences and continues to surprise us with his ability to talk all day long - just like his brother. Hint: this is no longer a very quiet household.

Tasman has now started the pre-K 4 program and loves his teacher, Ms. Victoria. He has developed a love for taking things apart, and his teacher was kind enough to procure for the class a number of scrap computers that he eagerly spends hours taking to pieces. Now the class has just started to organize those pieces and make projects out of them. Tasman loves it!

Crystal's been busy looking at houses, one of her favorite pastimes, to give a soon to arrive family an idea of what's available on the local real estate market. She hopes to get them settled in to a great start on their new life in Dhaka. Now that both Tasman and Atlas are in school for a couple of hours a day, and if no one is home sick, she has found some time to start up her art again and has been happy with how the paintings she's produced this month have turned out.

Adham is once again doing a detail assignment in the Public Affairs section of the Embassy, filling in for a staff member who is out of the country, while at the same time continuing his duties in the Consular section. Many new people have arrived in the past few months, so it has been nice to have the new faces around "the ranch".
